Jeff Bennett of Johns Creek, son of Dan and Kathie Bennett of Big Canoe, died August 10. He was 32. He grew up in Dacula, Ga., graduated from Mill Creek High School and Kennesaw State University where he earned a BA in information security and assurance. He worked as a senior analyst in the IT Advisory Services practices for EY in Alpharetta.
He loved sports and all things moving, playing baseball, basketball, running, swimming, football and games of golf with his extended family of teammates. He loved Braves baseball and his super- power was to make one laugh and also comfort people.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Dan (Kathie) Bennett of Chamblee; paternal grandmother Lola Bennett of Johns Creek; paternal aunt Patricia (Rymon) Buice, Johns Creek; maternal aunt Holly Harmon of Housatonic, Mass.; nephews Jack and Finn Bennett; cousins Lawanna (Dave) Burgess of Johns Creek; Sabrina (Scott) McDowell of Pendegrass, Ga., and loyal companion Yogi.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather the Rev. Glyndon Bennett; maternal grandparents Rhea Ann Harmon and Gilbert Martin Harmon.
Due to COVID, a celebration of life for Jeff Bennett will be held in the future.
