BY HENRIETTA HALL
Little Poppy, so named because she was found on Wood Poppy along with her four beautiful kittens, is a petite gray tabby beauty. She was fostered with her family and was a very devoted mother. She was recently transferred to Maggie"s House, Big Canoe"s shelter for cats, after being spayed and is getting along well with the other feline residents.
If you are interested in a very sweet, very loving young cat, you should come by Maggie"s House either during Open House every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or call BCAR and make to appointment to see her. Poppy is very sociable and loves to give head butts. She just wants someone to love her as much as she wants to love them.
BCAR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill shelter for homeless dogs and cats found in the Big Canoe community, providing them with a safe, healthy and positive environment until they are adopted into their forever loving homes. There are ways you can help. Your helping journey starts here:
